The Art and Culture Development Foundation holds annual activities such as Samarkand Marathon, Zaamin Ultra, Sky Camp Bostonlik, Bukhara Night Race, Tashkent Film Encounters, Tashkent Music Encounters, etc.

Zaamin Ultra

ZAAMIN ULTRA is the first ultramarathon and unique festival of sport and music in Uzbekistan, where the main action is a mountain ultramarathon for a distance of 50 km. The event takes place on the territory of Zaamin National Nature Park at an altitude of 2,200 meters above sea level.

The event is part of the Samarkand Marathon series of charity races. The races help to solve the tasks of attracting public attention to the problem of inclusiveness in the objects of culture and art, the promotion of healthy lifestyles and the development of sports tourism in our country.

Sky Camp Bo'stonliq

Sky Camp Bo'stonliq is Uzbekistan's first outdoors sport and music festival, part of the Samarkand Marathon series of charity races.

It is a bright event, which unites those who share a love for mountains and active lifestyle and will include two days of activities and four different competitions.

The sports program includes races: 'Sky Camp Peak' - a run to the top of the mountain (vertical kilometer), 'Sky Camp Bike' - a distance mountain bicycle race, 'Sky Camp Trail' - cross-country race (trail-running), 'Sky Camp Zen' - an event that combines three types of activity: yoga, running and meditation.

Bukhara Night Race

Bukhara Night Race is the first international night race in Uzbekistan, which takes place after sunset in Bukhara. The race starts in the old city and runs along the illuminated track, iconic places and streets of authentic Bukhara.

Samarkand Marathon

Samarkand Marathon is an international charity run founded in 2019. Educational and cultural programs in the framework of Samarkand Marathon take place in the city of Samarkand in parallel with the sports activity. A rich cultural program with concerts and film screenings is also presented for guests.

Tashkent Music Encounters

Tashkent Music Encounters is a project that brings together musicians from Central Asia and other regions. It will feature a variety of musical compositions ranging from traditional directions to experimental backgrounds.

The purpose of the project is to exchange experiences and share performances of artists showing how the rich musical heritage of the region can find new inspiration and reach new audiences. And the project forms a new community and gives musicians the opportunity to go beyond the traditional concert.

Children's Academy Samarkand Marathon

The Academy is open to children with ASD, Down syndrome, hearing and visual impairments, as well as all children and teenagers who wish to attend.

The main goal is to create an environment where children will develop their creative potential and socialize.

For 7 months classes in drawing, sculpting, applique, construction, speech and fine motor skills development, as well as other interesting master classes are held here.

CCA lab

CCA LAB is a research laboratory of the Center for Contemporary Art in Tashkent, whose mission is to develop contemporary art and cultural practices in Uzbekistan and to formulate new readings and new understandings of the region's artistic heritage. The ultimate goal of the laboratory is to develop a series of exhibitions with international curators in Uzbekistan and abroad.

CCA LAB participants will gain practical experience - as part of an interdisciplinary team under the guidance of curators they will work on exhibition projects at the Center for Contemporary Art in Tashkent, and will participate in the creation of the national pavilion of Uzbekistan at the Venice Biennale in 2020 and 2021.
