On 14 September, Chairperson of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation Gayane Umerova met with representatives of the World Economic Forum — Dietrich John, Head of Europe and Eurasia, and Marwen Garbaa, Head of Partnerships for Europe and Eurasia.

The meeting focused on prospects for developing long-term cooperation between Uzbekistan and the World Economic Forum, as well as opportunities to expand the country’s participation in the Forum’s initiatives and communities.

Particular attention was given to the development of the creative economy, culture, tourism and human capital as key areas for further cooperation, as well as Uzbekistan’s potential participation in the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos in January 2027.
