The Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation supported a concert by singer Laylo and suzani embroidery workshops led by Yulduz Mukhiddinova at the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A). The events took place as part of the museum’s public programme during London Design Festival 2026, for which the V&A was one of the main venues.
The events were held in response to Sender Unknown, an installation by Uzbek artist Aziza Kadyri, who represented Uzbekistan at the 2024 Venice Biennale and participated in the inaugural Bukhara Biennial in 2025. Sender Unknown was commissioned by the Victoria and Albert Museum as part of the V&A’s Jameel Programme, with further support from the Sarikhani Family.
