On 30 September, the musical and literary evening The Breath of the East took place at the Organ Hall of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan.

The programme brought together music and poetry inspired by the cultural heritage of the East. Guest artists performed arias from the operas Turandot, Prince Igor and Sadko, alongside romances by Russian classical composers drawing on the imagery and motifs of Eastern poetic traditions.

The evening featured People’s Artist of the Republic of Buryatia Olga Zhigmitova, tenor Ilya Khardikov, pianist Sergei Semyonov and actress Olga Sveshnikova.
The musical and literary evening was held with the support of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation.
