On October 1, the Palace of International Forums "Uzbekistan" hosted the gala concert "Opera Masterpieces" as part of the second World of Arts Festival of Russian Art. 

Accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan under the baton of Alibek Kabdurakhmanov, leading voices of the Russian opera stage took part in the concert.

Pieces of the world opera classics were performed by Olga Zhigmitova, artist of the Republic of Buryatia, Alexander Chernov and Guzel Sharipova, soloists of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, and Valentina Pravdina and Konstantin Brzhinsky, vocalists of the Moscow Helikon-Opera Musical Theatre.

The World of Arts Festival is organized by the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
