On 2 May, as part of the International Jazz Festival in Tashkent, two youth ensembles of the V. A. Uspensky Republican Specialised Music School — East Band and SKYBAND — will perform.
The International Jazz Festival is not only about world-renowned artists, but also a platform for emerging musicians performing at a serious level. East Band, led by Alina Alibekova, and SKYBAND are laureates of international competitions and participants in an online concert by Vladimir Spivakov.
The concert begins at 19:00 at the open-air venue behind the Palace of International Forums “Uzbekistan”.
The festival runs from 28 April to 13 May. Admission to all concerts is free.
