From Afrasiab and ancient manuscripts to jewellery, ceramics and traditional textiles, we present a selection of artefacts from the exhibition Uzbekistan: Heritage in Motion in Doha.

The exhibition brings together 36 unique museum objects and collections from Uzbekistan, spanning more than a thousand years of the country’s history. Each tells a part of this story — of craftsmanship, knowledge and artistic traditions that have been developed and passed down from generation to generation.
