The second day of the Aral Assembly took place at the Aral School, bringing together alumni, experts and practitioners for discussions, workshops and an exchange of knowledge and experience.

The day opened with a talk by Gulbahor Izentaeva, Director of the State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan named after I. V. Savitsky, marking the museum’s 60th anniversary. This was followed by discussions among Aral School alumni and experts on communities, landscape, water and future practices, with particular attention to the traditional knowledge and local experience of Karakalpakstan.

In the afternoon, participants explored the region’s potential in the space sector and opportunities for the use of space technologies. The programme continued with workshops on traditional architecture and local materials, concluding with Keler Dasturkhan — an intergenerational and intercultural exchange exploring the role of knowledge from the past in shaping the future.
