Chairperson of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, Gayane Umerova, took part in the 17th meeting of the ALIPH Board, the governing body of the International Alliance for the Protection of Heritage in Conflict Areas, held in Paris. Uzbekistan has been a member of the ALIPH Board since 2025. During the meeting, participants discussed the organisation’s strategic priorities, new international projects, and issues related to the protection of cultural heritage.
Particular attention was given to projects being implemented in Uzbekistan. Discussions also covered initiatives aimed at the preservation of museum collections, the protection of cultural heritage sites, and the training of conservation and restoration specialists.
