A series of masterclasses, organized by the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation in collaboration with the King’s Foundation School of Traditional Arts in London, continued with a workshop on traditional embroidery led by Madina Kasimbaeva.
The session gave participants the chance not only to learn about the symbolism and history of Uzbek embroidery, but also to try their hand at creating patterns and stitches characteristic of the national textile tradition.
The event highlighted the relevance and vitality of Uzbekistan’s textile heritage and once again reinforced the Foundation’s mission to preserve and promote traditional arts while fostering international cultural dialogue.
