Only days remain until the international premiere of the opera Tamerlano, which will be presented to global audiences for the first time on 10–11 January at Dubai Opera.
The production by director Stefano Poda brings together music, drama, and visual art, exploring themes of love, power, and destiny. In Kirill Richter’s contemporary interpretation, Handel’s classical score acquires a renewed sound while preserving its artistic depth. The music will be performed by the National Symphony Orchestra of Uzbekistan under the baton of Alibek Kabdurakhmanov, alongside the Orchestra of Folk Instruments and the State Choir of Uzbekistan.
