Gayane Umerova, Chairperson of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, met with Anne-Claire Legendre, President of the Arab World Institute.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the development of bilateral cooperation, with particular emphasis on preparations for an exhibition dedicated to the art of Uzbek dance, which will be presented at the Arab World Institute in 2029. The exhibition will showcase the rich heritage of Uzbekistan’s dance traditions, introducing international audiences to the country’s archival and museum collections.
The two sides also discussed joint research projects and initiatives aimed at preserving cultural heritage.
