During her visit to Paris, Gayane Umerova, Chairperson of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, was welcomed by Chris Dercon, Managing Director of Fondation Cartier pour l’Art Contemporain (https://www.instagram.com/fondationcartier/?hl=en). Together they toured Exposition Générale unveiled on the occasion of opening of the Foundation’s new home in a sensitively restored historic landmark in central Paris — viewing 600 of the institution’s 4,500 works.
The visit advanced plans for future collaborations and exchange of expertise, reaffirming art’s vital role in addressing contemporary challenges and fostering cross-cultural creative ties.
