Across the three days, the Aral Assembly became a place to exchange knowledge and think together about the region’s present and future. We are grateful to all the speakers, participants, partners and audiences who brought their knowledge, questions and perspectives to the programme. We would also like to thank the State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Karakalpakstan named after I. V. Savitsky and the Academy of Science for hosting us.

The final day continued with a special cultural programme, the premiere of Where the Water Ends, and a concert, bringing the Assembly to a close through film, music and collective exchange. We look forward to continuing these conversations beyond the Assembly.
