A meeting was held between Gayane Umerova, Chairperson of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, and John Alderdice, the United Kingdom’s Trade Envoy to Central Asia and Azerbaijan, dedicated to advancing Uzbek–British cooperation in the fields of culture, science, and education.

The meeting addressed the development of Uzbek–British cooperation in the fields of culture, science, and education. Ongoing and prospective joint initiatives with British institutions were discussed, including museum and exhibition projects in Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, as well as academic cooperation and educational programmes. The parties also considered opportunities to further strengthen professional exchange and develop sustainable frameworks for long-term partnership between Uzbekistan and the United Kingdom.
