From 5 November 2026 to 31 January 2027, the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation will present “A Leaf from the Rose Garden” as part of the second edition of Design Doha Biennial. The exhibition is dedicated to Uzbekistan’s artistic heritage and the contemporary evolution of the country’s traditional crafts.

The exhibition will feature works by artisans Madina Kasimbayeva, Davlat Toshev and Ruben Saakyan, bringing together suzani embroidery, miniature painting, ebru and glass art.

Uzbekistan’s pavilion will be housed in a traditional courtyard house in Doha’s historic Fereej Al Asmakh district. The exhibition will offer international audiences an opportunity to discover Uzbekistan’s artistic traditions and the region’s cultural connections.
