The delegation of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation held a meeting with Noura Al Gwaiz, Investment Director at the General Entertainment Authority of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, the Saudi side presented the General Entertainment Authority’s key areas of activity, including the delivery of the Kingdom’s flagship national initiatives, Riyadh Season and Boulevard World. The parties discussed opportunities to organise an Uzbekistan Week in Saudi Arabia, arrange tours by Uzbek theatre, opera and ballet companies, and develop joint projects in the fields of contemporary art and the creative industries.
Particular attention was given to the Boulevard World project. The parties explored the possibility of using it as a permanent platform to showcase Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage, traditional crafts, tourism and national cuisine, while further strengthening cultural ties between the two countries.
