During her visit to Paris, Gayane Umerova, Chairperson of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, was welcomed by Chris Dercon, Managing Director of Fondation Cartier pour l’Art Contemporain. Together they toured Exposition Générale unveiled on the occasion of opening of the Foundation’s new home in a sensitively restored historic landmark in central Paris — viewing 600 of the institution’s 4,500 works.
The visit advanced plans for future collaborations and exchange of expertise, reaffirming art’s vital role in addressing contemporary challenges and fostering cross-cultural creative ties.
