The Senate of the Oliy Majlis has hosted a meeting between Chairperson of the upper house of parliament Tanzila Narbayeva and Chairperson of Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation Gayane Umerova and Chairperson of the Council of the International Alliance for the Protection of Heritage (ALIPH), Adviser to the President of France Bariza Khiari.
The dialogue focused on deepening partnership between Uzbekistan and France in the field of art, intercultural dialogue and protection of historical and cultural heritage.
They discussed the prospects of joint restoration initiatives, programmes to involve young people and volunteers, as well as projects to improve the qualifications of specialists.
