In Rome, Chairperson of the Uzbekistan Art and Culture Development Foundation, Gayane Umerova, met with Italy’s Minister of Tourism, Daniela Garnero Santanchè. The two discussed their mutual interest in strengthening tourism links between Uzbekistan and Italy and in expanding cooperation in both tourism and culture.
During the meeting, they explored practical aspects of the tourism sector, including collaboration with tour operators, the hotel industry, and opportunities for professional exchange. They also highlighted the importance of cultural initiatives in fostering sustained interest in tourism destinations and in building stronger partnerships between the professional communities of the two countries.
